Yes. Missing stones, broken prongs, bent settings, and general wear do not disqualify a piece. The precious metal content and any remaining stones still have value. Bring it in regardless of condition and we'll tell you exactly what it's worth.
Do you pay more than just the gold melt value on diamond jewelry?
Yes — and this matters a lot. Many buyers strip diamond jewelry down to melt and ignore the stones entirely, especially on smaller diamonds. We evaluate diamonds separately from the metal and pay for both. On significant stones or designer pieces, the difference can be substantial.
Do I need a GIA certificate or appraisal to sell?
No. A GIA certificate or independent appraisal can support the value of a stone, but we evaluate diamonds ourselves and don't require paperwork to make an offer. If you have a certificate, bring it — it helps. If you don't, we'll assess the stone directly.
